In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: use kvzalloc to allocate struct dc struct dc has grown large… (CVE-2026-68436)CVE-2026-68436 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD GPU driver (amdgpu) related to the allocation of a large data structure (struct dc) has been resolved. The struct dc grew large enough to exceed the maximum contiguous memory allocation limit of the kernel's page allocator when allocated with kzalloc(), causing allocation failures. This failure leads to the amdgpu driver probe aborting and the display subsystem becoming unusable. The fix replaces kzalloc() with kvzalloc(), allowing fallback to vmalloc() for large allocations, preventing allocation failures and related warnings.
