In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-pf: fix SQB pointer leak on init failure otx2_init_hw_resources()… (CVE-2026-72023)CVE-2026-72023 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's octeontx2-pf driver caused a pointer leak during initialization failure in the otx2_init_hw_resources() function. Specifically, on failure, some SQB pointer arrays were not freed properly, leading to a resource leak. The issue was identified through experimental analysis tools and manual inspection confirmed its presence in kernel version 7.1.1. No runtime testing was performed due to lack of hardware. The vulnerability has been resolved by changing the cleanup path to properly free all allocated pointers.
