In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: orangefs: keep the readdir entry size 64-bit in fill_from_part()… (CVE-2026-72033)CVE-2026-72033 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's orangefs component was resolved involving an out-of-bounds read caused by improper handling of directory entry sizes. The function fill_from_part() computed the size of a directory entry using a 32-bit value, which could wrap around for large sizes, bypassing bounds checks and causing a kernel crash.
