In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ieee802154: ca8210: fix pointer truncation in kfifo on 64-bit… (CVE-2026-72047)CVE-2026-72047 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ieee802154 ca8210 driver causes pointer truncation on 64-bit architectures due to incorrect byte count usage in kfifo operations. This leads to partial pointer writes and subsequent use of uninitialized memory, resulting in kernel oops. The issue affects any 64-bit build with CONFIG_IEEE802154_CA8210_DEBUGFS enabled and has existed since the driver was introduced in 2017.
