In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: sit: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for changelink… (CVE-2026-72061)CVE-2026-72061 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's sit tunnel implementation allowed modification of tunnel links without proper capability checks in the tunnel's network namespace. The issue was that the capability check for CAP_NET_ADMIN was only performed against the device's network namespace, not the tunnel link's network namespace, potentially allowing unauthorized changes. This has been resolved by adding the required capability check at the start of the ipip6_changelink() function.
