In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: mana: Validate the packet length reported by the NIC Validate the packet… (CVE-2026-72065)CVE-2026-72065 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's net: mana driver involved improper validation of the packet length reported by the network interface card (NIC). The issue was that the RX Completion Queue Entry (CQE) length, supplied by the NIC, was not validated before being passed to socket buffer (skb) processing. This vulnerability has been resolved by adding validation of the packet length to prevent reliance on potentially untrusted NIC data.
