The driver previously assumed the first endpoint of the control interface was an interrupt IN endpoint without verification. A malicious USB device could exploit this by providing a different endpoint type, potentially causing kernel warnings or undefined behavior. The fix ensures the control endpoint is verified as an interrupt IN endpoint before use. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/15/2026, 06:32:11 UTC Added: 08/15/2026, 15:53:27 UTC |
