In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: can: bcm: validate frame length in bcm_rx_setup() for RTR replies bcm_tx_setup()… (CVE-2026-72114)CVE-2026-72114 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's CAN subsystem was resolved involving improper validation of frame length in bcm_rx_setup() for RTR replies. While bcm_tx_setup() validated frame length against CAN/CAN FD DLC limits before setting up frames for transmission, bcm_rx_setup() did not perform similar validation for RTR-reply frames configured via RX_SETUP with RX_RTR_FRAME.
