The issue arises because tags of pending commands are not unique across admin and IO queues, causing the firmware to crash with a duplicate tag error. The vulnerability has been resolved by applying a workaround that reserves two tags for the admin queue on Apple A11, similar to the existing workaround for Apple M1 devices.
