In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xfrm: xfrm_interface: require CAP_NET_ADMIN in the device netns for changelink… (CVE-2026-72136)CVE-2026-72136 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's xfrm_interface component allowed privilege escalation by permitting a caller with CAP_NET_ADMIN in one network namespace to modify an interface in another namespace without proper authorization. This was due to insufficient capability checks in the changelink operation. The issue has been resolved by enforcing CAP_NET_ADMIN checks in the device's network namespace before processing changes.
