In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sunrpc: pin svc_xprt across the asynchronous TLS handshake callback… (CVE-2026-72222)CVE-2026-72222 0 A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's sunrpc subsystem related to asynchronous TLS handshake callbacks has been resolved. The flaw involves race conditions where a callback writes to freed memory, causing slab corruption. This affects TLS-enabled NFS servers when connection close events overlap with TLS handshake callbacks. The issue is fixed by ensuring proper reference counting of the svc_xprt pointer during the handshake process.
