In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: arm64: nv: Drop bogus WARN for write to ZCR_EL2 It is entirely possible for… (CVE-2026-72280)CVE-2026-72280 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's KVM module for arm64 architecture involved an incorrect warning (WARN) triggered when a guest writes to the ZCR_EL2 system register alias in a nested virtualization context. This warning was considered bogus because such writes are expected behavior when FEAT_NV2 is advertised to the L1 hypervisor. The issue has been resolved by removing this incorrect warning, which previously could cause a hypervisor panic.
