In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: mvebu: free generic chips on unbind irq_alloc_domain_generic_chips()… (CVE-2026-72324)CVE-2026-72324 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's gpio mvebu driver involved improper freeing of generic chip data during IRQ domain unbinding. The function irq_alloc_domain_generic_chips() allocates generic chip data that must be freed by irq_domain_remove_generic_chips(). However, the existing removal function only called irq_domain_remove(), which does not always free the generic chips unless a specific flag is set. The fix explicitly calls irq_domain_remove_generic_chips() before irq_domain_remove() to ensure proper cleanup.
