In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/mlx5e: Fix publication race for priv->channel_stats[]… (CVE-2026-72341)CVE-2026-72341 0 A race condition in the Linux kernel's mlx5e driver caused a potential NULL pointer dereference on weakly-ordered architectures. The issue arises from missing memory barriers when publishing new channel statistics entries, leading to readers possibly accessing uninitialized pointers. This was observed on BlueField-3 DPUs (arm64) during concurrent access to network device statistics. The vulnerability has been fixed by adding proper memory barrier operations to ensure correct visibility and ordering of updates.
