In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing/fprobe: Fix NULL pointer dereference in fprobe_fgraph_entry()… (CVE-2026-72385)CVE-2026-72385 0 A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's tracing/fprobe subsystem was fixed in the function fprobe_fgraph_entry(). The issue arises because the code performs two separate walks of a per-IP fprobe list under rcu_read_lock(), where a newly registered fprobe can become visible between these walks. This can cause the second walk to access memory beyond the reserved shadow-stack size or dereference a NULL pointer, leading to a kernel oops and general protection fault.
