A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's teql network scheduler (sch_teql) was resolved by introducing a slaves_lock spinlock to protect concurrent modifications of the master->slaves linked list. The flaw allowed concurrent writes without proper locking or RCU protection, leading to potential use-after-free conditions during packet transmission. The fix adds proper locking and RCU annotations to ensure safe concurrent access.
