In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sctp: fix err_chunk memory leaks in INIT handling When sctp_verify_init()… (CVE-2026-72413)CVE-2026-72413 0 A memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel SCTP implementation was fixed. The issue involved err_chunk memory leaks in the INIT handling code paths when unrecognized parameters were encountered. The leaks occurred in both error and success paths due to missing calls to free allocated memory chunks. This vulnerability has been resolved by adding proper memory deallocation calls.
