In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: flowtable: Validate iph->ihl in nf_flow_ip4_tunnel_proto() Add sanity… (CVE-2026-72417)CVE-2026-72417 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfilter flowtable component was resolved by adding a sanity check for the IP header length (iph->ihl) in the nf_flow_ip4_tunnel_proto() function. This fix prevents out-of-bounds memory access caused by malformed IP headers. The patch also improves protocol handling by using the actual protocol field instead of a hardcoded constant.
