0

A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's md/raid10 subsystem caused reference leaks in writes_pending and barrier accounting on discard failures. Specifically, certain failure paths in raid10_handle_discard() did not release references properly, leading to unbalanced writes_pending accounting and barrier reference leaks. This issue has been resolved by ensuring that md_write_end() and allow_barrier() are called appropriately on failure paths.
