Specifically, when the allocation of an ACCEPT2 table failed in unpack_pdb(), the function incorrectly proceeded as if successful, returning an incomplete policy database. This could lead to inconsistent security policy enforcement. The fix ensures that an allocation failure returns an error (-ENOMEM) properly, preventing the use of an incomplete policy.
