In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xprtrdma: Check frwr_wp_create() during connect frwr_wp_create() creates the… (CVE-2026-72467)CVE-2026-72467 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's xprtrdma component involves improper handling of the frwr_wp_create() function during connection setup. If frwr_wp_create() fails, the connection is incorrectly marked as successful, leading to a NULL pointer dereference during certain NFS/RDMA read operations. This issue is locally triggerable on an NFS/RDMA client when local memory region allocation or mapping fails. The flaw has been resolved by checking the return value of frwr_wp_create() and failing the connection properly to allow normal reconnect attempts.
