FreeRDP before 3.30.0 contains an out-of-bounds vulnerability in kerberos_DecryptMessage() (winpr/libwinpr/sspi/Kerberos/kerberos.c). (CVE-2026-72745)CVE-2026-72745 0 FreeRDP versions before 3.30.0 contain an out-of-bounds vulnerability in the kerberos_DecryptMessage() function. This flaw arises because the 16-bit EC field of a peer-supplied GSS Wrap token is used in pointer arithmetic without proper bounds checking. A malicious peer can supply a large EC value to cause out-of-bounds read and write operations during CredSSP/NLA authentication. This can lead to information disclosure or memory corruption. The vulnerability has a high severity score of 7.5 and does not currently have a known exploit in the wild.
