0 SeaweedFS contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in its filer JWT allowed_prefixes implementation. The flaw arises because the authorization check uses a literal byte-prefix match, allowing tokens scoped to a path prefix like /tenant1 to also access sibling paths such as /tenant1234 or /tenant1backup. This enables cross-tenant read and write access in multi-tenant deployments. The issue is fixed in SeaweedFS version 4.24 by normalizing paths and matching on path components rather than raw string prefixes.
