In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: prevent snt_unacked underflow on CONN_ACK tipc_sk_conn_proto_rcv()… (CVE-2026-74282)CVE-2026-74282 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's TIPC protocol was resolved that could cause an underflow in the send counter snt_unacked when processing CONN_ACK messages. This occurs because the peer-supplied acknowledgment count is subtracted without verifying it does not exceed the number of outstanding messages, potentially causing the send counter to wrap to a large value and permanently block further transmissions on the connection. The fix involves validating the acknowledgment count and dropping messages that acknowledge more messages than outstanding.
