In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: pfcp: allocate per-cpu tstats for PFCP netdevs PFCP uses dev_get_tstats64()… (CVE-2026-74286)CVE-2026-74286 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's PFCP network device implementation was resolved by ensuring proper allocation of per-CPU transmit statistics (tstats). The issue involved the PFCP link setup not requesting NETDEV_PCPU_STAT_TSTATS, causing the net core to leave the tstats pointer NULL. This led to a NULL pointer dereference when the system queried device statistics during PFCP rtnetlink device creation. The fix sets the pcpu_stat_type to NETDEV_PCPU_STAT_TSTATS during PFCP link setup to allocate the expected storage.
