In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: RDMA/mlx5: Fix undefined shift of user RQ WQE size set_rq_size() computes the RQ… (CVE-2026-74297)CVE-2026-74297 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA mlx5 driver involved an undefined shift operation when computing the receive queue work queue element (RQ WQE) size. The function set_rq_size() used a user-provided shift value that was insufficiently validated, allowing shifts of 31 or 32 bits, which cause undefined behavior due to integer overflow.
