The issue involves improper validation of the length of capability elements returned by the Read Local Codec Capabilities command, potentially causing the parser to read beyond the intended payload. This flaw could lead to incorrect processing of malformed controller responses. The vulnerability has been fixed by improving validation to ensure the full element size, including the length byte, is checked before processing.
