The function netif_set_xps_queue() was incorrectly called for XDP Tx queues, which are not exposed as netdev queues. On systems with 64 or more CPUs using the E610 adapter, this caused a mismatch in queue counts leading to kernel warnings and potential kernel address sanitizer (KASAN) reports indicating out-of-bounds memory writes. The fix prevents XPS configuration for XDP Tx queues, avoiding these warnings and memory errors. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/15/2026, 06:32:29 UTC Added: 08/15/2026, 15:53:15 UTC |
