A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's mt7925 WiFi driver was resolved by adding a length check before a memcpy operation in the testmode query function. The flaw involved copying 512 bytes from a response buffer without verifying that the buffer contained sufficient data, potentially causing an out-of-bounds read. This could lead to leakage of memory contents to userspace. The issue was fixed by validating the skb length before the memcpy call.
