A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's RDMA irdma driver caused an out-of-bounds (OOB) read during completion queue (CQ) memory registration. The issue stemmed from improper handling of a feature flag related to CQ resizing, leading to an incorrect memory access. This flaw was fixed by removing a problematic field and directly checking the feature flag, preventing the OOB read.
