In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath12k: fix NULL deref in change_sta_links for unready link… (CVE-2026-74366)CVE-2026-74366 0 A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ath12k WiFi driver was fixed. The flaw occurs when the driver attempts to operate on an unready wireless link, leading to a crash due to dereferencing a NULL pointer. This happens because the driver fails to check if a virtual device was successfully created before manipulating link data structures. The issue can cause kernel crashes during station removal or key installation operations. The fix adds a check to ensure the virtual device is created before proceeding, preventing the NULL dereference.
