In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dax/kmem: account for partial discontiguous resource upon removal When… (CVE-2026-74379)CVE-2026-74379 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's dev_dax_kmem component was resolved. The issue occurs when dev_dax_kmem_probe() partially succeeds mapping memory ranges but fails on subsequent ranges, leading to a NULL pointer resource. Later, dev_dax_kmem_remove() attempts to remove these nonexistent resources, causing cleanup on a NULL pointer. The fix involves skipping these invalid ranges during removal to prevent erroneous cleanup attempts. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/15/2026, 06:32:31 UTC Added: 08/15/2026, 15:53:13 UTC |
