In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: seq: midi: Serialize output teardown with event_input event_process_midi()… (CVE-2026-74387)CVE-2026-74387 0 A use-after-free and null pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA MIDI sequencer subsystem was resolved. The flaw involved improper synchronization when tearing down MIDI output streams, allowing event processing to access freed memory. This could lead to kernel crashes or instability. The issue was fixed by adding synchronization mechanisms to safely manage output teardown and usage references.
