The mac_id field in RX descriptors is 8 bits wide (0-255), but the driver array assoc_link_on_macid[] only supports 128 entries. The firmware-supplied mac_id value was not validated before use as an array index, potentially leading to out-of-bounds access. The fix adds a defensive bounds check to prevent this condition.
