The issue was due to an incorrect data type for the scan index, which led to an infinite loop and system panic. This flaw caused the CPU to become stuck for over 20 seconds in the function rtw89_hw_scan_add_chan_ax. The problem was identified by observing the CPU stuck state and a large counter value in the scan loop.
