The driver stored an ieee80211_hw pointer but retrieved it as a net_device pointer, causing netif_device_detach/attach to operate on incorrect data structures. This was fixed by using ieee80211_stop_queues and ieee80211_wake_queues functions instead, aligning with the correct queue stop/start procedures.
