In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rxrpc: Don't move a peeked OOB message onto the pending queue… (CVE-2026-74434)CVE-2026-74434 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's rxrpc subsystem involves improper handling of out-of-band (OOB) messages when using MSG_PEEK. This flaw causes a single message buffer to be referenced in two queues simultaneously, leading to memory corruption and a use-after-free condition due to connection reference count underflow. The issue arises because the message is not properly unlinked from the original queue before being moved to the pending queue. This vulnerability has been resolved in the Linux kernel.
