In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NTB: ntb_netdev: Preserve RX queue depth on allocation failure… (CVE-2026-74626)CVE-2026-74626 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ntb_netdev component could cause the RX queue to stall if memory allocation fails during packet reception. The flaw occurs because the replacement buffer is allocated after handing the received packet to the network stack, and if allocation fails, the RX queue depth is not preserved, eventually stalling packet reception. The issue has been resolved by changing the allocation order to allocate the replacement buffer first and dropping the packet if allocation fails, preserving the RX queue depth and allowing packet delivery to resume once memory is available.
