The flaw involved improper synchronization of pressure clearing with ring reconfiguration, which could lead to dereferencing stale or NULL ring storage. The fix moves the receive hook assignment inside the lock protecting the ring state and serializes pressure clearing with the queue lock after a specific flag is observed.
