A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's BPF conntrack kfuncs caused a network namespace reference imbalance. This flaw could lead to leaking references or destroying a live network namespace, potentially causing kernel crashes. The issue arises from inconsistent reading and releasing of the network namespace ID in concurrent operations. The vulnerability has been resolved by snapshotting input fields to maintain balanced reference counting and stable option values during invocation.
