A resource leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's rtw88 PCI wifi driver was fixed. The issue occurs when the NAPI setup fails during the PCI probe process, causing allocated PCI resources not to be properly released. This bug was identified through an experimental analysis tool and confirmed by manual inspection. No runtime testing was performed due to hardware limitations. The vulnerability has been resolved by adding a dedicated cleanup path to ensure proper resource deallocation on failure.
