A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA bcd2000 driver was resolved. The issue occurs because URB pointers are not cleared after freeing, allowing a substream to access freed URBs during device disconnect. This can lead to memory corruption when the driver writes to and submits freed URBs. The fix involves clearing URB pointers after freeing and poisoning URBs to prevent later submissions.
