A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's qnap-mcu driver was resolved. The fix involved moving the receive buffer to a dynamically allocated structure to ensure it remains valid beyond the command timeout. This prevents late or unsolicited MCU messages from corrupting stack memory. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/11/2026, 21:31:22 UTC Added: 09/12/2026, 00:43:24 UTC |
