A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NTB transport layer caused packet buffers to leak when the QP link was down. The function ntb_transport_tx_enqueue() incorrectly returned success without consuming the packet, leading to memory leaks during transmit attempts racing a link-down event. This issue was fixed by changing the return value to indicate failure, allowing proper packet dropping and buffer freeing.
