A denial of service vulnerability exists in the undici WebSocket client used by Red Hat Developer Hub. A remote attacker can cause the Node.js process to crash by responding with an unrequested WebSocket subprotocol during the opening handshake. This flaw affects Red Hat Developer Hub versions prior to 1.9.9. No official fix or mitigation meeting Red Hat's criteria is currently available.

CVE-2026-19534 is a denial of service vulnerability in the undici WebSocket client component used by Red Hat Developer Hub (RHDH). The vulnerability is triggered when a remote, unauthenticated attacker controls a server that responds with an unrequested WebSocket subprotocol during the handshake. This causes a NULL pointer dereference leading to a crash of the entire Node.js process running the client, resulting in denial of service. The issue is tracked as RHDHBUGS-3741 and affects RHDH prior to the 1.9.9 release. Red Hat has released RHDH 1.9.9 addressing this and other issues. However, no specific patch or mitigation for this vulnerability alone is currently available or meets Red Hat's deployment and stability criteria.
