The multicluster engine for Kubernetes v2.10 images The multicluster engine for Kubernetes provides the foundational components that are necessary for the centralized management of multiple Kubernetes-based clusters across data centers, public clouds, and private clouds. You can use the engine to create new Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters or to bring existing Kubernetes-based clusters under management by importing them. After the clusters are managed, you can use the APIs that are provided by the engine to distribute configuration based on placement policy.

The fence-agents packages provide a collection of scripts for handling remote power management for cluster devices. They allow failed or unreachable nodes to be forcibly restarted and removed from the cluster. A critical path traversal and arbitrary file overwrite vulnerability exists in Argo Workflows within Red Hat OpenShift AI 3.5. An attacker with workflow submission privileges can submit a malicious archive containing symbolic links that bypass extraction directory restrictions, allowing overwriting of files inside the workflow pod. This can lead to arbitrary command execution during pod startup. The impact is limited to the compromised pod and does not affect the host system. Currently, no official fix or mitigation meeting Red Hat's deployment or stability standards is available.
