A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's platform/x86 dell-wmi-sysman component allowed the plaintext BIOS admin password to be exposed in kernel logs due to hex dumping of the security buffer. This issue has been resolved by removing the hex dump of the security buffer that contained the admin password.
