A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ath6kl WiFi driver allows underflow of association request and response length values, leading to potential disclosure of adjacent kernel memory to user space. This occurs because fixed IE offsets are subtracted from length fields without checking for a lower bound, causing unsigned 8-bit integer wraparound. The flaw has been resolved by clamping lengths before subtraction.
