A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's BPF subsystem on 32-bit kernels allowed incorrect bloom filter sizing and indexing, leading to potential out-of-bounds memory writes. This flaw arises from arithmetic overflow in allocation size calculation and improper handling of bit offsets, which can cause memory corruption. The issue enables local privilege escalation when exploited from a binary with CAP_BPF capability. The vulnerability has been resolved by correcting allocation size calculations and adjusting bit indexing logic.
