A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's intel-thc-hid intel-quickspi driver allowed a buffer overflow due to improper handling of the GET_REPORT response size. The driver copied device-supplied data into a caller buffer without validating the length, potentially overflowing the buffer if the device response was larger than expected. This issue has been resolved by bounding the GET_REPORT response to the caller's buffer size. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/11/2026, 21:31:34 UTC Added: 09/12/2026, 00:42:48 UTC |
